About MOUTHPEACE Inc.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        MouthPeace Inc. is a Not-For-Profit Corporation formed in New York State, which will be “the US company.” Our plan is to create a separate sister company in Israel (called an Amutah) to carry out our work in Israel, which will be “the Israeli company.”

OUR DIRECTORS

ARTHUR J. LEVY, Founder, President, and Director
Arthur J. Levy, Jewish American, holds a B.A. from The University of Michigan and an LL.B. from The University of Michigan Law School in Ann Arbor. He is an attorney licensed in the State of New York, presently retired, and was formerly a New York State Workers’ Compensation Law Judge, now retired. He served as Assistant District Attorney and Assistant Corporation Counsel in New York City, and as Administrative Law Judge and Hearing Officer (per diem) in New York City administrative agencies. He also maintained a private law practice. Mr. Levy traveled twice to Israel to explore feasibility of carrying out the objectives of this organization. He resides in Brooklyn, New York.

SUSAN FARBER, Secretary and Treasurer, and Director
Susan Farber, Jewish American, was born in Israel and has lived in France, Germany, and England, in addition to the United States where she now resides. Dr. Farber holds degrees, including Masters, degrees in the French language and in Educational Leadership, from colleges in France and the United States, and a Doctorate in Instructional Design and Technology from the University of Cincinnati. She is an educator in Hebrew, French, and German; a French instructor at Schilling School for Gifted Children and served as Visiting Scholar at the University of Cincinnati, School of Education. Dr. Farber presently lives in Cincinnati, is an active participant in Jewish religious and cultural life in the greater Cincinnati area; and is a longtime supporter of human rights in Israel and in the United States.

ABED H. ALMALA, Director
Abed H. Almala, Jordanian Bedouin, comes from Al-Mafraq, Jordan. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physics from Sulaymaniyah University in Iraq; a Master of Science Degree in Applied and Engineering Physics from George Mason University, Fairfax, VA.; and a Doctorate in Education from George Mason University, Fairfax, VA. He is author of articles and has conducted workshops on the peace process in the Middle East, including conflicts between Arabs and Jews, ethnic relations and human rights, and issues bearing on national and regional educational, socioeconomic and political reforms. Dr. Almala was Editor-in-Chief of the Jordanian student Voice Newsletter, and served as Director of Information, Culture, and Education with the Jordanian-American Society, in Washington, D.C. He taught physics, science, and mathematics online and on campus, and served as Campus Dean, at colleges and junior colleges in Virginia and Massachusetts. Dr. Almala is currently a Lead Faculty and Associate Professor at Colorado Technical University, School of General Education and Psychology, with main campuses at Schaumburg, IL and Colorado Springs, CO, where he lectures online and on campus in education, general science, physics, and mathematics. Dr. Almala resides in Vienna, VA.

ITAY ASAF, Director
Itay Asaf, Jewish Israeli, comes from Kibbutz Ginosar, on the Sea of Galilee in northern Israel. He holds a B.A. in Behavioral Science from Yizrael Valley College and a Certificate of Informal Education from the Israeli Ministry of Education. Mr. Asaf founded Serving the Community, an Israeli volunteering program for athletes, for which he received an Israeli President Award. He has pursued innovative approaches to introducing Americans to Israel. He is Founder and Tour Guide of Birthright Extension, and also Social Justice Tour of Israel, volunteering programs for young Americans. Mr. Asaf is presently structuring a Tour of Israel focused on social responsibility. He is Director of Education with the Israeli American Council in New York City, where he now resides.

SALMAN ELBEDOUR, Director
Salman Elbedour, Bedouin Israeli, comes from Laqiya in the Negev in southern Israel. He holds a Masters’ Degree in Psychological Foundations of Education , a Specialist Degree in Clinical School Psychology, and a Doctorate in Educational Psychology and Clinical School Psychology, from the University of Minnesota. Dr. Elbedour taught high school in Rahat, Israel, and holds degrees from colleges in Israel (Ben Gurion University) and in the United States. He served on Adjunct Faculties at Ber-Zeit University in the West Bank, at Hamline University, Minnesota, and at the University of Maryland, The Joseph and Rebecca Meyerhoff Center for Jewish Studies. Dr. Elbedour was International Visiting Scholar at Macalester College in Minnesota; is principal author of articles on the educational system in Israel, and on the psychological impact of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict on Jewish and Arab children; and is a frequent presenter of research in the United States, Europe, Israel, and the West Bank. Dr. Elbedour is a full Professor of Educational and Clinical Psychology at Howard University, Washington, D.C., where he is mentor of doctoral dissertations on psychological issues, including pathology resulting from ethnic conflict. He resides in Alexandria, VA.

MORAD ELSANA, Director
Morad Elsana, Arab Palestinian, comes from Laqiya in the Negev in southern Israel. He holds an LLB from Tel Aviv University, Faculty of Law; a Masters Degree in Community Organizing & Development from McGill University, School of Social Work, Montreal; a Masters Degree in International Legal Studies, International Protection of Human Rights, from American University Washington College of Law, Washington, D.C., and a Doctorate in Human Rights from American University Washington College of Law, Washington, D.C. Dr. Elsana is a member of the Israeli Bar; a Founder and former Board Member of Alhuquq Center for Human Rights, Beer-Sheva; and a former Member and Director of Adalah-the Legal Center for Arab Minority Rights in Israel. He was Professor of Public International Human Rights Law, Humanitarian Law, International Organizations, Legal Research Methods, Hebrew for Lawyers, at Hebron University, College of Law and Political Science, West Bank. Dr. Elsana served as Instructor, with Dr. Elbedour, in a course on The Israeli Bedouin at the University of Maryland-College Park, Institute for Israel Studies, where he also served as Visiting Scholar and Professor. Dr. Elsana is presently a Visiting Professor at California Western School of Law in San Diego, where he resides.
